Mr Charles S R Chuka served as Governor of the Reserve Bank of Malawi from 24 April 2012 to 23 April 2017. Prior to his appointment to the office of Governor, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Malawi Telecommunications Limited from December 2010 to 22 April, 2012 Between November 2003 and May 2010 he served as Senior Advisor in the office of the World Bank’s Executive Director for the Southern and Eastern Africa, joining from the Reserve Bank of Malawi where he had served for nearly 24 years

He was formerly Chief Executive Officer of Ethanol Company Limited and also worked as Marketing Manager for CG Smith Chemicals, South Africa. He chairs the board as an independent director.

Mr. Daniel was Group Finance Director at Nico for many years and his experience spans insurance, retirement funds management, accounting, investments management, corporate advisory, (mergers, acquisitions, etc), project management and business start-ups. Tom has sat on the board of several companies including NBS Bank, Nico Zambia, Chichiri Shopping Centre, Blantyre Hotels and Malawi Stock Exchange. He is heavily involved in committees on the boards that he sits.

Ethan founded Vunani and has served as the Chief Executive Officer since its inception in 1998 and he is overall responsible for the activities of the group. Having established the business in 1998 with two  partners, Ethan grew the Company to approximately 50 employees within a three year period reflecting revenues in excess of R100 million and an asset base of approximately R400 million. He previously Founded Infinity Asset Management in 1996 together with three other partners and spent eighteen months as a Portfolio Manager.

Mr. Lungu is a registered Mechanical Engineer who has held various senior appointments, including Chief Executive of Maltraco Limited. He runs his own business comprising Deans Engineering Company Limited (DECO), CNL Engineering Limited and Tapiwa Investments Limited. Mr. Lungu has held other directorships at Malawi Railways Limited (Chairman), Malawi Bureau of Standards, David Whitehead and Sons and Intraco Services Limited (UK).
Mr. Lungu is also a Trustee of the Poverty Alleviation Trust Fund.

Audrey Mwala

Mrs Mwala is a Chartered Accountant, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute o’ Management Accountants (CIMA) UK, and a Certified Public-Private-Partnership Specialist, with vast experience in financial analysis, project management, privatisation techniques and structuring of public-private partnership (PPPs) deals. She has worked in venous capacities as an Accountant, Project Coordinator, a Portfolio Manager and as a Director of Finance and Risk Analysis for PPPs at The Privatisation Commission. Has served as a director in Inde Fund, NBS Bank, Kangombe Investment, Mwaiwathu Private Hospital, Sukambizi Trust and The Safe Home. Currently pursuing the CFA qualification, Mrs. MwaW is the incumbent Director of Finance and Rlsk Analysis of the Privatisation Commission
